1. About RentAVine
RentAVine is a farm-based reservation service through which customers can reserve a harvest allocation associated with a selected kiwi vine for one harvest period.
A RentAVine reservation does not transfer ownership of land, a kiwi plant, a vine, or any other farm property to the customer.
2. Reservations
Customers select an available plan and, where available, select an individual RentAVine vine that matches the requirements of that plan.
A reservation represents a customer's participation in the RentAVine harvest programme for the stated harvest period. It is not a purchase of the vine itself.
A reservation becomes confirmed only after the required payment has been received and verified by RentAVine.
3. Vine selection
Vine availability shown on the website is subject to change. A selected vine may be temporarily held while a payment is pending.
A vine selection or reservation does not give the customer any right to visit, alter, prune, harvest, move, or otherwise physically manage the vine unless RentAVine expressly permits it.
RentAVine may change the assigned vine when reasonably necessary because of farm operations, vine condition, availability, or other circumstances affecting the reservation. Where this happens, RentAVine will make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable alternative.
4. Harvest estimates
Any quantity displayed for a vine, plan, or reservation is an estimate or intended allocation. It is not a guaranteed production quantity.
Kiwi production naturally varies between vines and between seasons. The final quantity available for allocation is determined after the actual harvest and processing, where applicable.
5. Natural crop variation
Agricultural production is affected by factors outside reasonable human control, including weather, rainfall, temperature, frost, disease, pests, natural events, crop conditions, and other farm or agricultural circumstances.
RentAVine therefore makes no guarantee of a particular crop quantity, harvest date, fruit size, appearance, grade, or other production outcome.
Customers should understand this agricultural variability before making a reservation.
6. Payment
The applicable plan price is displayed on the RentAVine website at the time of reservation.
Where manual payment is offered, customers must provide the requested transaction or payment reference details. A submitted payment reference does not by itself mean that payment has been received or verified.
RentAVine may verify payments before confirming a reservation.
7. Harvest allocation
The customer's reservation records the applicable plan and intended harvest allocation. The actual harvested quantity may differ from the displayed estimate.
RentAVine will determine the final allocation based on the actual harvest available for the reservation and the applicable plan.
A lower or higher actual crop from an individual vine does not mean that the customer owns the difference or has a claim to the vine's physical crop beyond the allocation applicable to the reservation.
8. Processed produce
Plans that include processed or dried kiwi are subject to the processing method, yield, preparation and packaging applicable to that plan.
The quantity shown for processed produce is an intended allocation and should not be treated as a guarantee of a particular processing yield from the fresh fruit.
9. Delivery
RentAVine may arrange delivery to the delivery address provided by the customer, subject to service availability.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate name, mobile number, address, city, state and PIN/postal code.
Delivery timing can vary depending on harvest readiness, packing, processing where applicable, courier availability, weather and other logistical conditions.
Delivery does not begin simply because a reservation has been made. It follows the harvest and preparation stages applicable to the reservation.
10. Cancellation
RentAVine reservations are subject to the cancellation and refund terms published in the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.
No refund, cancellation, credit, replacement or other remedy should be assumed unless it is expressly provided for in the applicable policy.
11. Customer account
Customers are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and for protecting access to their account.
Customers must not use another person's account or provide false information when making a reservation.
If account information changes, customers should update it where the website provides that facility or contact RentAVine for assistance.
12. Website use
Customers may use the RentAVine website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Website content, including photographs, text, graphics, branding and other materials, must not be copied, reproduced or commercially reused without appropriate permission.
13. Liability
RentAVine provides an agricultural reservation service involving a crop that is naturally subject to seasonal variation and circumstances outside its reasonable control.
RentAVine does not represent or guarantee that a particular harvest quantity, harvest date, fruit characteristic, delivery date or other agricultural outcome will occur.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RentAVine is not responsible for losses arising from events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right or protection that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
14. Changes to these terms
RentAVine may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, website or applicable requirements.
The version published on this page is the current version. Customers should review the terms before making a new reservation.
