Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please understand the cancellation and payment rules before making a RentAVine reservation.

Last updated: 11 September 2026
Important: Confirmed RentAVine reservations are generally non-refundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required under applicable law or where RentAVine expressly provides otherwise under this policy. Please review the plan, selected vine and reservation details carefully before completing payment.

1. Important

RentAVine is a farm-based harvest reservation service. When you make a reservation, the reservation relates to a specific harvest period, plan and, where applicable, an individual selected vine.

Payments made for a confirmed RentAVine reservation are generally non-refundable, subject to any refund or other remedy that may be required under applicable law or expressly provided under this policy.

This means customers should make a reservation only after reviewing the plan, intended allocation, selected vine, harvest period and delivery information.

2. Before payment

A selected vine may be temporarily held while payment is pending. The temporary hold is intended to give the customer time to complete the payment process.

If payment is not completed and verified within the applicable hold period, RentAVine may release the vine and make it available for another customer.

A temporary vine hold is not a confirmed reservation and does not create a refund entitlement because no completed payment has been made.

3. After payment

Once payment has been received and verified, the reservation is treated as confirmed.

Customers may request cancellation of a confirmed reservation, but cancellation does not ordinarily entitle the customer to a refund. This is subject to any refund or other remedy that may be required by applicable law.

This applies whether the request is made shortly after payment or later during the growing season.

4. Why reservations are non-refundable

RentAVine reservations are linked to seasonal farm planning and harvest allocation. A confirmed reservation may involve reserving a vine, planning expected production, managing harvest allocation, processing, packaging and arranging delivery.

For this reason, RentAVine does not operate confirmed reservations as ordinary refundable retail purchases.

5. Crop variation

Kiwi is an agricultural crop and production can vary between vines and seasons.

Weather, frost, rainfall, temperature, pests, disease, natural events, vine condition and other agricultural circumstances can affect the final crop.

A lower-than-estimated harvest, by itself, does not create a refund entitlement. However, this does not limit any remedy that may be available to a customer under applicable law.

Quantities displayed on the website are estimates or intended allocations and are not guaranteed production quantities.

6. Harvest delays

Harvest timing can change because of natural crop development, weather and farm conditions.

A change or delay in the expected harvest period does not by itself create a cancellation or refund entitlement.

RentAVine will communicate material harvest or delivery updates where appropriate.

7. Changes to the selected vine

In some circumstances, RentAVine may need to change the vine associated with a reservation because of vine condition, farm operations, availability, safety or other agricultural circumstances.

Where a change is necessary, RentAVine may provide a suitable alternative vine or make another reasonable arrangement for the reservation.

A necessary change to the vine does not automatically create a refund entitlement.

8. Payment errors

Customers using manual payment must check the payment details before submitting payment.

If a customer submits an incorrect payment reference or other information, RentAVine may ask for clarification or additional proof before verifying the payment.

Customers should not make a second payment solely because a payment has not yet been verified. Please contact RentAVine first if you believe a payment has been made but is not showing correctly.

9. Duplicate payments

If you believe that you have accidentally paid more than once for the same reservation, contact RentAVine through the Contact page as soon as possible and provide the relevant transaction references.

Any duplicate-payment situation will be reviewed against the payment records. A duplicate payment should not be treated as an automatic refund promise.

10. Exceptions

RentAVine does not promise refunds, credits or replacement payments for crop variation, harvest delays, changes in crop quantity, fruit characteristics, delivery delays or other circumstances described in this policy.

If RentAVine voluntarily decides to provide an exception in a particular situation, that decision will not automatically change this policy for other reservations.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

11. Questions

If you have a question about a payment, reservation or cancellation, please contact RentAVine through the Contact page before making another payment or taking any action.

Please keep your reservation ID and payment reference available when contacting us about a payment.

In simple terms: You can select and hold a vine before payment. Once your payment is verified and the reservation is confirmed, the reservation is non-refundable. Harvest quantity and timing are agricultural estimates, not guarantees.
