RentAVine, simply explained

Have a question?

We have grouped the most common questions by the stage of your RentAVine journey.

Getting started

Understanding RentAVine

What is RentAVine?

RentAVine lets you reserve an individual kiwi vine on our farm for one harvest period. You choose a plan, select an available vine, complete your reservation and follow the harvest journey. The vine remains part of the farm; the reservation gives you an allocation from that vine’s harvest according to the selected plan and reservation terms.

Am I buying or owning the kiwi vine?

No. A RentAVine reservation does not transfer ownership of the vine, land or farm. Your selected vine is assigned to your reservation for the applicable harvest period.

How long does a RentAVine reservation last?

A reservation covers one harvest period, described on the selected plan and reservation. The exact harvest timing can vary with crop development and farm conditions.

Where are the kiwi vines located?

RentAVine vines are associated with our kiwi farm in Himachal Pradesh. Individual vine and farm pages provide the location information that is appropriate to share publicly.

Reservation

Choosing a plan and vine

How do I reserve a vine?

Start with the Plans page and choose the plan that suits you. You can then view eligible available vines, open an individual vine profile and choose the vine you want. Continue to the reservation page, review the details and follow the payment instructions.

Can I choose a specific vine?

Yes. Available individual vines can be selected through the vine-selection process. Vine availability can change, so a vine that is visible as available may be temporarily held or reserved by another customer.

What does the vine size mean?

Vine size is used to match physical vines with the appropriate RentAVine plan size. It helps determine which plans a particular vine can be selected for; it is not a permanent plan assigned to the vine.

What happens when I select a vine but have not paid yet?

A selected vine may be temporarily held while payment is pending. The temporary hold is intended to give you time to complete payment. If payment is not completed and verified within the applicable hold period, RentAVine may release the vine for another customer.

Is a temporary vine hold a confirmed reservation?

No. A temporary hold is not a confirmed reservation. Your reservation becomes confirmed after the required payment has been received and verified.

Harvest

Harvest estimates and crop variation

How much kiwi will I receive?

Your plan and reservation show an estimated or intended fresh-kiwi allocation. Agricultural production varies between vines and seasons, so the final harvest can be higher or lower than an estimate. The quantity shown should not be treated as a guaranteed crop yield.

Why can the actual harvest be different from the estimate?

Kiwi is an agricultural crop. Weather, frost, rainfall, temperature, pests, disease, natural events, vine condition and other farm circumstances can affect the final crop.

When will my kiwi be harvested?

Harvest timing depends on natural crop development and farm conditions. Your reservation provides the applicable harvest season or period, but RentAVine does not promise a fixed harvest date.

What happens if my selected vine produces less than expected?

The quantity shown on your plan or reservation is an estimate or intended allocation, not a guaranteed production quantity. RentAVine will manage harvest allocation according to the reservation terms and applicable farm availability. Any remedy that may be required under applicable law remains unaffected.

Can my assigned vine change?

In some circumstances, RentAVine may need to change the vine associated with a reservation because of vine condition, farm operations, safety, availability or other agricultural circumstances. Where necessary, RentAVine may provide a suitable alternative vine or another reasonable arrangement.

Your harvest

Fresh and processed options

What is the Fresh Kiwi plan?

The Fresh Kiwi plan is designed for customers who want their allocated harvest as fresh kiwi. The plan page shows the applicable plan size, price, estimated allocation, duration and delivery information.

What is the Fresh + Processed plan?

Fresh + Processed plans combine fresh kiwi with a processed kiwi allocation, such as dried kiwi, according to the specific plan. The exact quantities and terms are shown on the selected plan and reservation.

Can I change my plan after making a reservation?

Plan changes are not automatically available after a reservation is confirmed. If you need help with a reservation, contact RentAVine with your reservation ID so the request can be reviewed.

Payment

Payment and confirmation

How do I pay for my reservation?

RentAVine currently provides manual payment instructions on the reservation payment panel. Follow the payment details shown there and submit the requested transaction/reference information for verification.

Is my reservation confirmed immediately after I make the payment?

Not necessarily. Manual payments need to be reviewed and verified. Your reservation is confirmed after RentAVine verifies the payment.

What payment information should I submit?

Submit the transaction or reference details requested by RentAVine and any other supporting information shown in the payment panel. Never share your UPI PIN, OTP, banking password, card PIN or similar confidential credentials.

What if I made a payment but it has not been verified?

Please check your reservation and payment details first, then contact RentAVine with your reservation ID and payment reference. Do not make a second payment solely because the first payment has not yet been verified.

Delivery

Receiving your harvest

Do you deliver across India?

RentAVine plans are intended for delivery across India, subject to practical delivery and logistics availability for the destination. Delivery information for your reservation should be reviewed before payment.

When will my kiwi be delivered?

Delivery takes place after the relevant harvest, allocation, preparation and packing stages. Harvest and delivery timing can change because of crop development, weather, farm operations and logistics. A fixed delivery date is not guaranteed.

Can I change my delivery address?

If you need to change your delivery details, contact RentAVine as early as possible and provide your reservation ID. Changes may not be possible once harvest allocation, packing or dispatch has begun.

What if my delivery cannot be completed?

If a delivery attempt cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient or another delivery issue, RentAVine may contact you for clarification or a suitable next step. Keep your delivery details accurate and accessible.

Cancellation

Refunds and cancellations

Can I cancel my reservation after payment?

You may request cancellation of a confirmed reservation, but confirmed reservations are generally non-refundable. This is subject to any refund or other remedy required by applicable law or expressly provided under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

What happens if I select a vine but do not pay?

The vine may be held temporarily while payment is pending. If the payment is not completed and verified within the applicable hold period, RentAVine may release the vine. Because no completed payment has been made, a temporary hold does not create a refund entitlement.

Do I get a refund if the harvest is lower than expected?

A lower-than-estimated agricultural harvest does not by itself create a refund entitlement. Crop estimates are not guaranteed production quantities. Any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

What if I accidentally make a duplicate payment?

Contact RentAVine as soon as possible and provide the relevant reservation and transaction references. Duplicate-payment situations are reviewed against payment records and are not treated as an automatic refund promise.

Your account

Following your vine

What can I see in my customer account?

Your customer area can show your reservation details, assigned vine, plan information, reservation and payment status, harvest information when available, and other relevant updates.

How do I know which vine is assigned to me?

Once your reservation has an assigned vine, the vine ID and related information are shown in your reservation/customer area. The individual vine profile may also provide its farm, variety, season and other available details.

Will I receive updates about my vine?

RentAVine may publish farm and harvest updates during the growing and harvest journey. Material reservation, harvest or delivery updates will be communicated where appropriate.

What if I forget my password?

Use the Forgot Password option on the customer login page to request a password reset through the registered email address.

The farm

About the growing side

Can I see information about the farm?

Yes. RentAVine provides farm and vine information intended to help customers understand where their reserved harvest is coming from. Publicly displayed farm information may be limited to protect privacy and farm operations.

What kiwi varieties are available?

Variety availability depends on the vines currently listed on RentAVine. Open the individual vine profile or the available vine listings to see the variety associated with a particular vine.

How are the kiwi vines grown?

RentAVine can provide information about the farming practices used on the farm through its farm and farm-update pages. Specific practices should be understood from the information published for the farm rather than assumed from general agricultural terms.
